Her commitment to people-centric practices ensures that both staff and residents thrive in a supportive environment.
Fahreen is the CEO of Serencroft, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience. She has driven innovation and high-quality care, earning Serencroft accolades such as the Palliative Care/End of Life Award and Outstanding Mental Health Services Provider. Fahreen also spearheaded the launch of a health-tech investment arm to advance healthcare technology. A passionate advocate for ESG principles, Fahreen has positioned Serencroft as a leader in sustainable practices, progressing toward B Corp certification. She actively mentors’ young individuals and shares her expertise in family business succession and leadership at industry forums. Fahreen holds a BSc in Cellular Medicine from the University of Bristol and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. She is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization, Platinum I, the National Care Providers Association, and the Care Leaders Network.
After graduating from Oxford, Shahreen began her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston, specializing in M&A and capital markets, before becoming CFO at Serencroft. She now leads strategic expansion efforts, utilizing her financial acumen. Despite her demanding role, Shahreen serves as a Director on the Board of Trustees for Child Bereavement UK, demonstrating her commitment to social responsibility. Her balanced approach combines corporate leadership with meaningful philanthropic engagement.
