“My mother was moved from Hospital to Hayes Cottage Hospital in her final days in Sept 2019. The support and care she and my family received from the moment we arrived was amazing - the staff running the palliative area, in particular, were patient, attentive and always had time for us as we tried to navigate the very worst of times. The lovely gardens to the rear of the hospital also gave us a much-needed escape from the intensity of those last days. For us to have had to remain in the noisy and cramped chaos of the hospital would have been very distressing, but the peaceful calm and care offered by the move to Hayes Cottage Hospital allowed our family the time, space and comfort to properly farewell my mother.”

“We have been extremely impressed and very happy with the care my aunt has received and is receiving, as well as with Hayes Cottage itself. The staff are always very happy and efficient and seem very dedicated. Whenever we turn up to visit my aunt we always find her to be very clean and comfortable andwell looked after. The home too is always very clean and fresh and well maintained. All the staff; management, nursing, admin, carers, etc. are always happy to speak with us if we need to ask anything. We would certainly recommend Hayes Cottage.”

“Having my father in residence at Hayes Cottage since January 2024, can I please be allowed to say, that since his admission, my father’s quality of life has improved beyond my wildest expectations. The home is run wonderfully, Alexandra and you are always across any issues that may arise, and they are great at keeping families in the loop. As for the accommodation, the rooms are kept clean and tidy, making them a pleasant place for any guest safe and happy. Every suite has a head nurse working 24 hours if the day, so the peace of mind can’t be underestimated. So, in reflection, Hayes Cottage is a brilliantly well run home for the our loved ones, their care and friendly disposition makes visiting an absolute joy, and watching your loved ones flourish., you can not put a price on this. Thank you Alexandra and Monica, what you and your team have done for my family is amazing, thank you so much.”

“When he came into your care, not surprisingly, Chris and I were a little apprehensive, mostly because dad was doing so well at Parkview. But within a week, our concerns were put at rest, we knew that he had found his happy place. Over the last 12 months, dad has changed beyond all recognition, his quality of life has increased, something we genuinely believed wasn't possible. Chris and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, and all your staff for everything you have done to put dad in a comfortable place, and for the exceptional care you and your amazing provide to him. There are too many people to mention, but everyone who has been a part of dads care over the last year has played a vital part in making dad so content, he even has his cheeky smile back (Even when he knows he shouldn't have that extra treat after his breakfast) Over the last 12 months, we have become very attached to the home, we now see you and all the guys as family, because you are caring for dad, giving him, the quality of life and dignity a gentleman of his age deserves, something we could not provide at home. Thank you for everything, and can we wish you, and all of your team the happiest of Christmas, and a happy and peaceful New Year. Onwards to 2025. ”
