“Many many thanks for all you did for my dad. You all treated him with kindness and dignity and respected his privacy. Thank you particularly to Florence and Lynn who looked after Dad for many years and to Jackie who made him laugh. With lots of love.”
Resident's family member
“We would like to say how grateful we are for the care our mum received during her stay at Plane Tree Court. You have a great team that are so very caring from Rebecca on reception, to the cleaning staff on the floors and of course all the amazing and dedicated health care workers! The work that you all do is so important and you excel in everyday possible. So thank you, we will never forget what you have done for us and our mum. Remember, it is the little things you do that make such a difference.”
Resident's family member
"To all at Plane Tree, a huge thank you to everyone for the wonderful care and kindness that you have shown. We knew he was in good, safe hands but you also showed him so much love and consideration throughout all his stay. We will never forget your stories about his days (though Dad of course did), but he knew them in that moment, and he felt all of the love, laughter and the tears. We will always be grateful for all that you have done, not just for him but for our whole family."

"Mum has been to Plane Tree Court on 4 occasions this year to allow my 82 year old father respite from his carer responsibilities. She has been welcomed back on each occasion and remembered fondly by many of the staff. They remember her likes and dislikes and ensure her needs are met. We are hoping to arrange further sessions over the coming year"
Resident's family member
"Management and staff welcoming, friendly, pleasant and respectful whatever time we visited. So impressed by the cleanliness of the home including frequent fresh bedding. Dad always looked and smelt clean and comfortable. All the staff looked after us and supported us so kindly during Dad's final days. They were always willing to give generously their time to talk to us. Nothing was too much for anyone. We were incredibly touched when all the staff stepped outside to see Dad off on his final journey. I highly recommend this excellent care home."
Resident's family member
"A well-staffed, clean, well-maintained care home. My mother has thrived with good care and food. Her room is light and airy. There is a nurse on duty 24 hours. The staff are very caring and friendly. The chef cooks excellent, nutritious meals. The receptionist is very welcoming and helpful. I am very happy with the care my nearly 99-year-old mother gets at Plane Tree Court."
Resident's family member
"Very pleased with the professional care our brother is receiving. He seems to have settled in very well. The staff are very attentive. He says the meals are good and complains there is too much. We are very satisfied with the way this home is run."
Resident's family member
": In September 2022 at the age of 100 years and suffering from dementia, my mother was moved from an increasingly unaffordable care home with fewer qualified staff to Plane Tree Court where she was immediately and warmly welcomed with the greatest attention.
Resident's family member
Perhaps a little less plush but still with comfortable rooms and more importantly, qualified 24/7 nursing staff, the more affordable Plane Tree Court offered and provided all the care and attention that my mother needed and continued to need for the remainder of her time. The doctors from the linked medical practice made regular visits and were always on call and until the very end on January 13th 2024, at 102 years, my mother received the very best of loving care and attention. A last and unexpected tribute was shown when all the staff escorted the visiting funeral hearse and waved my mother a tearful farewell on her final journey. Plane Tree Court and all the care team-brilliant! What more can I say?"
Resident's family member
"Our mum arrived at Plane Tree in October from a placement for assessment. She was mentally and physically in a very bad place. The first weeks were very hard as Mum was not responding well. After weeks of the most patient care, our mum has turned a corner. She is responsive, peaceful and treated with respect and kindness. We could not ask for more as we just wanted her to get to this stage, and Plane Tree and the amazing team have achieved this."
Resident's family member
"My experience at Plane Tree Court has been extremely positive. My husband is staying on the residential floor at the moment, and the staff could not be more helpful. They are always available to answer any queries and to give support."
Resident's family member
"Our experience is very satisfactory because everyone in the home is very friendly and approachable. No matter what is asked of them, they do their best to help; they can't do enough for my husband. Very attentive, which puts my worries and fears to rest. Whether it is Halloween or Christmas or whichever else we celebrate, they decorate and make sure everyone is made to feel part of the celebrations."
Resident's family member
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the team at Plane Tree Court for the care and support that Mary received as part of the last year of her life which helped her to live as well as possible until she passed away in June 2024 . This care enabled her to die with dignity, the team fully communicated with her about her wishes and preferences and took these into account when planning her care. Mary came from Morecambe to stay in the home and found the changes difficult to accept in the initial period .
Resident's family member
However the Team demonstrated patience and a lovely patient- centred approach in making her feel ‘at home ‘ their kindness was appreciated by both Mary and ourselves. In addition they supported the family in navigating this time . The Team always had Mary’s wishes at the heart of decisions made for her care and we felt that this couldn’t have been any better , so no regrets from our family. This was a gold star delivery of End of life care and should be celebrated Thank you on behalf of the family"
